For
this assignment I created a series of 4 images intended to be used for a
series of supernatural book covers for older children. The theme of the work focuses on the childhood fantasy of being able to fly.
For the concept to work I had combine at least 2 photographs per image and use Photoshop to
layer and manipulate the images in a non-destructive and creative way.
Photoshop and image manipulation is something
that I am extremely interested in and intend to explore further in the second year of the Diploma. - Sarah Thornton
